BOTOX or botulinium toxin

Certain wrinkles on face (forehead, crow’s feet, glabellarlines..) are caused by underlying muscles. Ageing accentuates the action of the muscles and the appearance of new wrinkles.

Botox is cosmetically used to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing muscles in the forehead and around the eyes. The doctor injects  enough Botox to soften the movement in order to make the lines disappear and you can still have normal facial expression since he doesn’t have to freeze the face to give the patient a reduction in wrinkles.

Botox injections usually begin working three to four days after treatment and the result is excellent. The effect may last  five to six months. To maintain the effect, you’ll need regular follow-up injections.

It can be used for treating deep wrinkles, around the mouth (nasolabial fold  the naso-labial fold , the bitterness folds).
It can also be uesd to increase lip volume in order to have pulpy and voluptuous lips.
