Breast Reduction

Breast reduction is a cosmetic surgery procedure that aims to reduce  the size and weight of large and breasts, helping to eliminate sagging. Other than its aesthetic  purpose, many patients choose this procedure to alleviate physical symptoms such as back, neck or shoulder pain, shoulder grooves, or discomfort while exercising.

Mammoplasty is a delicate, yet well-mastered operation, a  blood assessment and mammography must be realised before the intervention. The operation lasts between two and three hours and requires a general anesthesia.

The purpose of the intervention is  to create a more aesthetically pleasing breast contour and to improve breast symmetry. The surgeon removes  excess breast tissue, fat, and stretched areolas and/or large nipples can be reduced during the same procedure. The drains placed by the surgeon must remain for three days. This surgery can leave behind scarring hidden by the bra, that fade over time.

The duration of residence in  the clinic is generally up to two or three days, followed by a week of recovery. The aftermath of the surgery is not very painful. Sutures are removed after approximately 15 days, a normal activity is regained after two months.

Breast augmentation

Breast augmentation tends to be an option for women with smaller breasts and for those who experience a  lack of confidence. The procedure is tailored to meet a woman’s individual needs and to enhance self-image.

Women who are seek to restore breast fullness, lost after pregnancy, breastfeeding or any other health problems, are also concerned by this procedure.

The operation lasts about one hour and a half and requires a general anesthesia.
Breast augmentation consists in increasing breast size and enhance breast shape, typically through the placement of silicone or saline breast implants.
Scars are very discreet or almost invisible and varies from one case to another, their locations are determined during the pre-operative consultation.
The duration of residence in  the clinic is generally one to two days, followed by one week of recovery. The pain resulted by the operation is to be diminished within eight to ten days after the procedure. It is imperative that women resume wearing a post surgical-bra for one month.
Sutures are removed after approximately 15 days, a normal activity is regained after two months.
The replacement of the existing prosthesis is often practicable after 10 to 15 years of morphological evolution.

Breast Lift

Breast lift is recommended for women who seek to restore a firmer, perkier, and more aesthetically pleasing shape to sagging breasts, following pregnancy breastfeeding or weight loss.

Breast ptosis which means drooping breast and low areola, occurs when the parenchymal mass of the breast exerts stretch forces on the breast soft tissue envelope, causing stretch of breast skin that allows descent of the parenchymal mass and changes in the shape and position of the nipple-areola complex.
The operation lasts between two and three hours and requires a general anesthesia.
The purpose of this procedure is to reposition the breast tissue so the nipples are facing forward and to enjoy a perky breast shape. The surgical technique is similar to that, used in breast reduction and it requires scars around the areola and underneath the breast.
The intervention is not very painful, the duration of residence in  the clinic is generally one to two days, followed by one week of recovery. Then, all you need is to wear a bra without underwire. Sutures are removed after approximately 15 days, a normal activity is regained after two months.

Gynecomastia Surgery

Gynecomastia surgery, also known as male breast reduction, is the surgical correction of overdeveloped or enlarged breasts of men.

The initial step is to rule out pseudogynecomastia by careful history taking and physical examination, If results of all studies are normal, idiopathic gynecomastia is diagnosed which can be removed through regenerative surgery. This surgery can be done at any age, only after an endocrinologist examination and after a mammography.
The  curative surgical resection of the development of the mammary gland for males is performed under general anaesthesia.
Depending on your needs and your cosmetic surgeon’s preferred technique, incisions may be located along a portion of the edge of the areola or within the armpit. Through these incisions, your cosmetic surgeon will remove excess fat and/or glandular tissue, at the same time sculpting a new chest contour that looks natural to your body. The intervention lasts for about one hour followed by one day as a residence duration. The recovery process is typically quite tolerable and the pain is usually minimal, however,  your cosmetic surgeon will likely prescribe some pain medication. Transitory discomfort is to be observed in the crusty nipples. Rare complications could occur such as a hematoma or an infection..
The result is remarkable within 1 to 3 months, At this stage are definitive in principle.
